The answer is actually both. Asked to plant this stunning foyer in a local office we combined real green succulents with some high quality silk orchids.

By using the same containers for both the planters take on an 'installation' feel and welcome staff and visitors alike. The prickles on the succulents say 'keep off' to inquisitive hands and the orchids will stay in flower year after year after year...
